Firefly wins a Telly Award

We’re excited to have won this award for the Inspiring Latinos project for Mid-Columbia Libraries!

The Telly Awards is the premier award honoring video and television across all screens. Established in 1979, The Telly Awards receives over 12,000 entries from all 50 states and 5 continents. Entrants are judged by over 200 leading experts including advertising agencies, production companies, and major television networks. The Telly Awards celebrates including executives from Dow Jones, A&E Networks, Hearst Media, ESPN Films, RYOT, Vice+ and Vimeo.

Architecture Photos — NW Farm Credit Union

Architecture photos can be terribly fun to shoot. This image is a composite of 15 images (5 HDR photos composed of 3 differently-exposed photos each). Yes, it’s a ton of work. But the results are enormous, gorgeous photos.

Inspiring Latinos — Ana

It's not en vogue for photographers to talk politics. Frankly, we don't care. In today's political climate, where entire ethnic groups are derided by people we'd elected to represent us, it's upon us to show that we have an excellent community because of wonderful people like Ana.

Ana is a DREAMER.

We're so glad to have met Maria — so talented, driven, kind, and truly an asset to our community. She teaches at Pasco High School, often using music to engage her students.

Famed Author — Alexander McCall Smith

Mid-Columbia Libraries somehow managed to bring in Alexander McCall Smith — author of best-selling book series like The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency. They hosted him at Columbia Basin College, and it was packed — it seemed like every Tri-Citian showed up.

And we got to film it! 

Memorial for Sergeant Christopher L. Vowels

We were honored to film the vast procession and ceremonies for Sergeant Chris Vowels — a beloved member of the Richland Police Department. 

Columbia County Health System Videos

Columbia County has a wonderful hospital system in Dayton, WA, serving the needs of their community. It was our pleasure creating videos that highlighted their surprisingly sophisticated technologies and systems. 

Aerial Shots for Cameo Heights Mansion

Cameo Heights Mansion is the premiere bed and breakfast in the Pacific NW. (The owners of Firefly have stayed there several times, and happily attest to that claim.)

Dental Specialist Institute

Dr. Garth Hatch, DDS has created the Dental Specialist Institute (DSI), and used Firefly to produce a series of videos. Each video focuses on an aspect of growing a dental specialist business.
